Jarrod is a Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credentialed through the American Association of Coding Professionals (AACP) since 2018. He specializes in working with small independent mental health private practices.
He has been happily married to his wife, Brandie, for the past 17 years. She is the one who sparked his love of the mental health world as a therapist herself. He loves being a part of the life changing work that is done in this field.
Jarrod attended Austin Community Colleges' medical billing and coding certification program in 2018.
While attending the medical billing and coding program, Jarrod also worked full time for Brandie Cole Psychotherapy, PLLC as the office manager. In this role he was responsible for all the administrative tasks involved with running a psychotherapy private practice. This experience was invaluable and gave Jarrod a unique look at running a private practice from the therapist point of view. He is proud to take this knowledge and use it to better serve his clients.
Jarrod prides himself on his integrity and finds the utmost joy in getting people paid for the work they have done. He would love to be your medical billing representative.

Nicole serves as our Operations Manager. She is in charge of completing all credentialing, claim submissions, demographic updates with insurance and accounts receivable. She is also happy to answer questions regarding anything else about insurance.
Nicole attended Texas State University where she earned her degree in Education. She then moved into her role as an Educator, where she taught for a total of 9 years in Hays CISD and Comal ISD. She was awarded Teacher of the Year 2 times during her duration as an Educator. Even though she loved the field of teaching, it was time for a new career path, which brought her to OCMB.
Nicole is happily married to Blake, and together they have two children, Taylor and Tate! She enjoys spending quality time with her family members, being outside with the kids and reading a mystery novel.

Michelle is a Medical Billing Specialist from the Austin area. She handles eligibility and benefits and billing submissions.
Before joining Onion Creek Medical Billing, she worked at Camp Mabry in the medical records department, where she gained valuable experience managing patient information and supporting healthcare operations.
She also spent almost two decades with a nonprofit animal welfare organization, serving in both an office manager capacity and veterinary roles that deepened her skills in organization, client communication, and compassionate care.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three dogs.
